Data Loggers for Shipping and Transportation Monitoring

Data Loggers

Shipping & Transport Monitoring

Businesses that provide or rely upon shipping and transportation know that a top priority is taking care of the cargo. To ensure that you know what happens to your shipments in transit, you need the right kind of equipment. MadgeTech’s shipping data loggers monitor and record the temperature, humidity, or shock levels of products during transport. The devices are easy to use—simply start the data logger and deploy it within a shipment.

Once the shipment is received, the data can be downloaded and analyzed to verify that conditions stayed within a user-programmable safe range. Many MadgeTech data loggers are also equipped with LED alarming, providing immediate notification if the shipment has been transported within acceptable conditions. Extended warranties and calibration services are available as well.

The Netherlands are known for its picture perfect landscapes, colorful tulip fields, and of course those wooden windmills. In 1421, the windmill was first erected in Holland to help drain the country after ravaging floods, but were put to work throughout the centuries producing oil, paper, and even ships. It's no surprise that their love of wind is being used in the 21st century to power 100% of its passenger trains.

Fiat Chrysler is now under the microscope after claims by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that it too has installed deceptive software in some 104,000 vehicles. The accusations come following the news that six Volkswagen executives were charged for their roles in the sale of 11 million diesel cars equipped with similar software. Not only do they face decades in jail, if found guilty, but the German automaker now has to cough up more than $21 billion in fines and cleanup costs.
