Barbecues, fireworks and parades all make up the quintessential American tradition. On the Fourth of July, patriotism runs deep as we celebrate the United States’ independence from Great Britain and all the things that shape our great nation. With the holiday approaching, we reflect on our many freedoms and recognize the millions of Americans that work hard every day to produce products that are proudly labeled Made in the USA.

Although the names may sound similar, Muda, Mura and Muri are three very different, but equally important factors in maintaining a safe and efficient manufacturing facility. When analyzed together, the 3M’s can be considered the three enemies of an efficient work place.
