Are MadgeTech data loggers ISO:17025 certified?

MadgeTech has ISO:17025 accreditation for several parameters, and many of the MadgeTech loggers will come with an ISO:17025 accredited certificate of calibration. To see our scope, and the loggers that are supplied with accredited calibrations, see more information on our calibration page: https://www.madgetech.com/products/calibration/

Can I use a Thermocouple Simulator to calibrate my thermocouple based data logger?

Can I use a Thermocouple Simulator to calibrate my thermocouple based data logger?

Thermocouple calibrators do not work reliably with most MadgeTech thermocouple loggers. The data logger will pull down the voltage of the thermocouple calibrator enough to alter the reading. While the thermocouple calibrator will recover quickly, the data logger will take the reading before the calibrator has corrected itself. This will lead to an inaccurate reading. Due to this, using a thermocouple simulator is not recommended when calibrating MadgeTech loggers.
