How do I know which data logger Interface Cable to choose? Which Interface Cable do I need?

Certain interface cables will only operate with specific data loggers. The following information will help with determining the correct interface cable for your MadgeTech data logger.

Cable Descriptions

IFC200 (USB interface cable w/ 3.5mm headphone plug)
Operates with Standard MadgeTech data loggers which includes all products except: Cryo-Temp, TransiTemp-EC,TransiTempII, TransiTempII-RH, MicroTemp, MicroRHTemp and HiTemp140 data loggers.

 

IFC110 (9-pin serial interface cable w/ 3.5mm headphone plug)
Operates with Standard MadgeTech data loggers which includes all products except: Cryo-Temp, TransiTemp-EC,TransiTempII, TransiTempII-RH, MicroTemp and MicroRHTemp, HiTemp140 data loggers, 101A series data loggers and 2000 series data loggers.

 

IFC102 (9-pin serial interface cable w/ 3.5mm headphone plug and 3.5 to 2.5mm adapter)
Operates with the MicroTemp and MicroRHTemp only. IFC202 (USB interface cable w/ 3.5mm headphone plug and 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter)Operates with the MicroTemp and MicroRHTemp only.

 

IFC103 (9-pin serial interface cable with special interface, base station)
Operates with the TransiTemp-EC (single and multi use) only. (The interface on the IFC103 interface/base station is a hard-wired, 9-pin serial plug. This part number requires the use of a USB to Serial adapter to become USB capable. We offer the USB-1, USB to Serial Adapter that will work with this cable to convert it to USB)

 

IFC300 (USB docking station with magnetic wand)
Operates with the Cryo-Temp, TransiTempII and TransiTempII-RH only.

 

RFC101A - (RF, wireless receiver for use with RF loggers.)
Operates with the RF Series data loggers only. (The interface on this receiver is a hard-wired, 9-pin serial plug. This part number requires the use of a USB to Serial adapter to become USB capable. We offer the USB-1, USB to Serial Adapter that will work with this device to convert it to USB. Necessary for the following loggers)

 

RFC200A - (RF, wireless receiver for use with RF loggers.)
Operates with the RF Series data loggers only. (The interface on this receiver is a hard-wired, 9-pin serial plug. This part number requires the use of a USB to Serial adapter to become USB capable. The USB-1, USB to Serial Adapter is included in this package.)

 

IFC400 (USB Docking Station)
Operates with the HiTemp140 data loggers only.

 

RFC1000
Receiver for use with the new wireless RFOT and Therm•A•lert loggers. Utilizes a USB interface cable to connect to a PC to display data in real-time.

 

RFC1000-Repeater
Reciever/Repeater for use with the new wireless RFOT and Therm•A•lert loggers. Increases signal strength for new RF series over extended distances. AC power required.
