Quality Inspector

MadgeTech, Inc., a leader in data logger technology, is seeking an individual with a “Can Do” attitude to work in a busy, challenging, team-oriented environment. A full-time position is available for a highly-motivated individual to work as a Quality Inspector that will maintain quality standards by approving incoming and outgoing products.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Approve incoming and outgoing products by confirming specifications
  • Ability to follow specifications, work orders, and reports to determine material requirements and assembly instructions
  • Approve in process production by confirming specifications; communicate required improvements to production supervisor
  • Approve finished products and evaluate returned products for rework
  • Report problems or issues to Production Manager
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area to facilitate production activities
  • Liaise between the production and shipping department
  • Analyze information
  • Report and research results
  • Promote process improvement
  • Manage processes
  • Inspect outgoing sales orders, RMA’s and calibration orders
  • Inspect incoming parts
  • Review the information submitted by customers on incoming RMA’s.
  • Perform in-process testing of sub-assemblies
  • Document and maintain the results of the all inspections and testing.
  • Initiate the NCMR process for non-conforming parts
  • Write SOP’s for the inspection process
  • Maintain a master list of inspection requirements for outgoing orders


The Quality Inspector should be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Multi-task with the ability to respond to changing priorities are important in this role.

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
  • 2+ years’ experience working as a Quality Inspector preferred
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail

Senior Graphic Designer

MadgeTech, Inc., is a worldwide leader in data logger technology. Established and based in Warner New Hampshire, MadgeTech engineers and manufactures all products right here in the heart of NH and sells data loggers and accessories in over 100 countries worldwide!

The MadgeTech Marketing Team is seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer who is eager to work in a fast paced, challenging, team oriented environment. This full-time position requires a highly motivated individual that can take the lead on a multitude of creative levels. Responsibilities will include designing all brochures, documentation, advertising, product photography, product packaging, trade show materials, web graphics and additional elements to support software interface design and product labeling. The person in this role must be a creative and resourceful problem solver and will be a key contributor in the presentation and perception of the MadgeTech name. As a team lead, this person will ensure that brand guidelines are continually developed, maintained and enforced for all projects.

The Senior Graphic Designer reports to the Marketing Director and collaborates with other marketing team members to execute tasks in order to achieve company-wide goals. The MadgeTech marketing department collectively creates and maintains a library of support and promotional materials to be translated, published and distributed in domestic and foreign markets.

It is critical that the Senior Graphic Designer be organized, competent and able to manage a combination of creative and administrative tasks with minimal supervision, in a timely manner.

Knowledge and Experience:

Creativity and Design – Must possess exceptional creative talent capable of quick execution and professional presentation. Minimum of 4 years' experience in-house graphic design, including document layout, logo design, branding and imagery. A focus on advertising design or brand development a plus.

Web Technologies – Working knowledge of web facing content management systems such as Magento and Wordpress. Moderate coding experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, mobile web technologies and responsive design required, as well as SEO fundamentals and optimization. Experience with PHP programming a plus but not required.

Video and Media – Basic knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. Experience with video capture, editing and publishing a plus.

Sales and marketing - Knowledge of principles and methods for branding, presenting, promoting, and selling of products or services. Familiarity with primary marketing channels and results analysis.

Language and Writing - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Creative or technical writing experience a plus.

Technical aptitude – A comfortable level of experience using and adapting to new software tools and the ability to interpret technical specifications and product information.

Organizational Skills – Along with attention to detail, having the ability to record, track and organize all materials in a consistent manner. The right candidate will demonstrate the aptitude and desire to maintain or devise processes that enable others to easily find and consume material.
