The MadgeTech Marketing Team is seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer who is eager to work in a fast paced, challenging, team oriented environment. This full-time position requires a highly motivated individual that can take the lead on a multitude of creative levels. Responsibilities will include designing all brochures, documentation, advertising, product photography, product packaging, trade show materials, web graphics and additional elements to support software interface design and product labeling. The person in this role must be a creative and resourceful problem solver and will be a key contributor in the presentation and perception of the MadgeTech name. As a team lead, this person will ensure that brand guidelines are continually developed, maintained and enforced for all projects.

The Senior Graphic Designer reports to the Marketing Director and collaborates with other marketing team members to execute tasks in order to achieve company-wide goals. The MadgeTech marketing department collectively creates and maintains a library of support and promotional materials to be translated, published and distributed in domestic and foreign markets.

It is critical that the Senior Graphic Designer be organized, competent and able to manage a combination of creative and administrative tasks with minimal supervision, in a timely manner.

Knowledge and Experience:

Creativity and Design – Must possess exceptional creative talent capable of quick execution and professional presentation. Minimum of 4 years' experience in-house graphic design, including document layout, logo design, branding and imagery. A focus on advertising design or brand development a plus.

Web Technologies – Working knowledge of web facing content management systems such as Magento and Wordpress. Moderate coding experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, mobile web technologies and responsive design required, as well as SEO fundamentals and optimization. Experience with PHP programming a plus but not required.

Video and Media – Basic knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. Experience with video capture, editing and publishing a plus.

Sales and marketing - Knowledge of principles and methods for branding, presenting, promoting, and selling of products or services. Familiarity with primary marketing channels and results analysis.

Language and Writing - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Creative or technical writing experience a plus.

Technical aptitude – A comfortable level of experience using and adapting to new software tools and the ability to interpret technical specifications and product information.

Organizational Skills – Along with attention to detail, having the ability to record, track and organize all materials in a consistent manner. The right candidate will demonstrate the aptitude and desire to maintain or devise processes that enable others to easily find and consume material.

Calibration Technician

MadgeTech, Inc., a leader in data logger technology, is seeking an individual with a “Can Do” attitude to work in a busy, challenging, team-oriented environment. A full-time position is available for a highly motivated individual to work as a technician in the RMA department.

Tasks

  • Routine maintenance on customer owned devices keeping each order separate, in some cases following specific customer requests and instructions.
  • Calibrate data loggers.
  • Follow MadgeTech specifications, work orders, and reports in order to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
  • Disassemble, and reassemble mechanical systems, label, install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings, using rivets, bolts.
  • Position, align, and adjust components, cables, devices and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.
  • Drill and tap holes in specified equipment locations to insert or mount control units, and to provide openings for elements, wiring, and instruments.
  • Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for resistance factors and for operation; and record results.
  • Mark and tag components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified.
  • Report problems or issues to Team Lead.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area to facilitate production activities.
  • Perform other tasks such as, training assistance, as requested by supervision / management; be willing to work overtime as necessary and authorized.

Marketing Research Analyst

The MadgeTech Marketing team is seeking a creative and talented Marketing Research Analyst to play a key role in content creation for worldwide promotion. This individual will provide support for all active marketing campaigns with a strong focus on the medical, pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.

This individual must possess a “Can Do” attitude and thrive in a fast paced, challenging, team oriented environment. This is a full-time, permanent position that will directly contribute to the steady growth of MadgeTech's sales and marketing efforts and overall success. The right candidate for this position will be a driven research specialist with a strong technical aptitude and attention to detail. Collected data and information should be distilled and shared with an intuitive nature for developing engagement.

Some travel will be required on occasion to attend trade shows as well as educational and networking events.

The Marketing Research Analyst collaborates and works at the guidance of the Marketing Research and Content Manager and reports to the Marketing Director. All marketing team members work collectively to execute tasks and achieve company-wide goals.

Knowledge and Experience:

Sales / Marketing - Knowledge of principles and methods for presenting, promoting, and selling products or services. Establish familiarity with primary marketing channels and results analysis. Ability to think strategically and analytically with direct application to each initiative.

Research / Fact Checking – Must be independent, thorough and conscientious in establishing all facts and implied meaning of publishable content. Work independently to gather relevant information on topics, industries, trends, competitors and convey detailed information about how MadgeTech products are used in the field while identifying consumer demands and applying the SWOT analysis framework.

Data Analysis – Must possess the ability to determine key metrics used to measure engagement and success of marketing campaign content. A level of comfort with spreadsheets and reporting tools will be required, along with the ability to understand and present findings.

Keyword Analysis – Must possess or attain an understanding of the effective use and measurable benefit of industry keywords and terminology in regards to search engine optimization and relevance.

Technical Aptitude – A comfortable level of experience using and adapting to new software tools and the ability to interpret highly technical specifications and product information. Some product and software testing will be required to achieve the level of comprehension necessary to develop instructional materials and scripts.

Language / Writing – Must be able to provide compelling written content that is clear, concise and grammatically correct. Solid knowledge of the structure of the English language. Creative or technical writing experience a plus. Multilingual skills are also a plus.

Speaking / Presentation – This role will require occasional interaction with customers and distributors from a sales or demonstration perspective. Confidence and professionalism is critical and expected at all times.

Creativity / Communications – Comfort with or willingness to learn programs and applications which combine content and design such as e-mail marketing, social media publishing, forms, surveys and advertisements.

Calibration Lead

A full-time position is available for a highly motivated individual to work as the Calibration Team Lead in the RMA department. The Calibration Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the seamless processing of all returns, including repairs, calibrations, refunds and exchanges. Maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the entire RMA process through excellent customer service is crucial

Tasks
  • Distribute work to RMA/Calibration Technicians and ensure it is completed correctly and in a timely fashion.
  • Be the “go to” person for RMA/Calibration technicians.
  • Assist/train new RMA/Calibration technicians and retrain existing RMA/Calibration technicians.
  • Assist RMA coordinator with customer responses for issues.
  • Interface with other groups and customers as required.
  • Evaluate customer returns for repairs or replacement.
  • Has a strong understanding of board level debug and able to read schematics.

  • Position, align, and adjust components, cables, devices and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.
  • Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for resistance factors and for operation; and record results.
  • Mark and tag components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified.
  • Report problems or issues to Engineering.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area to facilitate production activities.
  • Perform other tasks such as, training assistance, as requested by supervision / management; be willing to work overtime as necessary with authorization.
The Calibration Team Lead should be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Multi-task with the ability to respond to changing priorities are important in this role..

Must be able to work well with the RMA/Calibration Technicians in order to be able to guide them in performing the repair and calibrations necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.

The Calibration Team Lead is required to be proficient in working with Windows, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software packages and tools quickly. The person in this role will also need to develop a technical understanding of the entire MadgeTech product line.

Technical Support Representative

Maintaining customer satisfaction through technical support and customer service interactions is crucial.
Note: this is not an internal "Help Desk" position

Tasks
  • Assist MadgeTech customers by telephone or electronically, providing technical information and troubleshooting for proprietary MadgeTech hardware and software.
  • Respond to Technical Support emails addressed to support@madgetech.com, info@madgetech.com, sales@madgetech.com, etc.
  • Respond to Technical Support inquiries through LiveChat.
  • Assist Sales Representatives with technical applications and product recommendations, and take over any direct technical support through sales channels.
  • Train customers on the use of MadgeTech data loggers, accessories and software.
  • Keep records in ERP of MadgeTech customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Identify weaknesses in product documentation and write knowledgebase articles and/or coordinate with marketing to have documentation created.
  • Identify weaknesses in MadgeTech software and add bugs/software requests to internal software site.
  • QA and testing for MadgeTech products and software.
Applicants must possess excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Correct grammar and an understanding of customer service etiquette are essential, both over the phone and through email or other written correspondence.  Applicants should be very proficient working with Windows, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software packages and tools quickly. The applicant will also need to develop a thorough technical understanding of the entire MadgeTech product line. Experience in a technical support position is preferred.
