The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss their regulatory compliance needs and explain our tools offered by specific products and services.
  • Identify perspective customers by following leads.
  • Select the correct products to assist customers needs, and on knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
  • Quote prices, credit terms and other bid specifications.
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sale.
  • Prepare sales contracts, answer questions about our products, availability and product uses.
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
  • Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained and submit orders to customer service for processing.

Experience:

  • outside sales: 5 years (Preferred)

Probe Technician Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Responsible for operating the FP crimping machine.
  • Ability to use assembly drawings and work instructions to build all products within the probe department.
  • Ability to operate all wire stripping equipment within the probe department.
  • Responsible for operating test equipment that measures pressure and strength integrity.
  • Ability to use arc welder and soldering irons when needed.
  • Ability to operate the lathe equipment within the probe department.
  • Inspects probes, using microscope, to detect defects, such as loose wiring and loose, split, or worn probes.
  • Observes probe through microscope and aligns probes in specified position.
  • Ability to operate Kiln, solder pot, and heat gun.
  • Ability to use Fishnar dispensing equipment.
  • Work in close collaboration Probe Lead to define process improvements within the probe department.
  • Support continuous improvement through participation of ISO 9001.
  • Rapid problem-solving process, initiation and implementation of Continuous Improvement (CI) and challenging themselves and others to continuously look for ways to do things better.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Familiar with computers with basic math skills.
  • Experienced with the manipulation of small parts.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Electronic wiring and soldering skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot to the component level.
  • Mechanical ability.
  • Assembly work in a manufacturing environment; where blue print reading is required.
  • Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material.
  • Ability to lift packages.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office. (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)

Engineering Technician

MadgeTech is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Engineering Technician. This role will support a team of multi-discipline engineers in the development, testing and documentation for the next generation of Data Loggers, accessories, and applications. MadgeTech is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of data capture technology, relying on our innovative designs and smart interfaces to provide the customer with an exceptional product.

Required tasks for this position will include but not limited too:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform a wide variety of mechanical electro-mechanical and electronic technical duties.
  • Support multi testing projects simultaneously.
  • Working with engineer's to develop and document standard test plans.
  • Perform PCB re-work using soldering tools and fine pitch components.
  • Conduct testing and validation of new software releases.

Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary

MadgeTech is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer. This position requires an engineer to implement improvements in our current and future products. The goal is to improve quality and efficiency. The primary function is to support the various processes that comprise PCB and electro-mechanical manufacturing.

Required tasks for this position will include but not limited too:

  • Support for new product introduction by identifying tooling, panalization and methods of assembly that optimize processing.
  • Frequent interaction and coordination of information with planning, production, customer service, engineering and quality control.
  • Providing support for new processes introduction by identifying and implementing new equiipment and methods that improve existing processes.

Experience:

  • Manufacturing Engineering: 7 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

The Administrative Assistant / Receptionist performs a variety of clerical tasks related to the customer service and our front desk. This position does include answering phones, data entry, mailings, assisting managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Performing duties as assigned.
  • Greet all visitors at the front desk.
  • Answer and transfer calls to the appropriate department.
  • Order entry.
  • Complete all mailings for the business.
  • Prepare outgoing and incoming mail.
  • Create and maintain documents.
  • Organizing and filing at front desk area.
  • Maintain professionalism at all times.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Two or more years’ experience in Administrative Assisting.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must possess proficient ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering data
